Serpouhi was deported with her father, one sister and two
brothers. When they came near Islahie the father, one brother and many other
men were killed. The rest of the caravan reached Bab. There a Kurd named Selon
carried her forcefully away with him and married her. Serpouhi was then 13
years old and the Kurd 60 years. She gave the birth to three children. Selon
had another wife, a Turk, who illtreated Serpouhi.
Once she came with her husband to Aleppo, and on the
street she met with her sister, who brought her to our home.
