Victoria's father was killed in the war. Her mother, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers and she herself were deported. On the road her mother and some of her sister became ill and died.
One day the caravan reached the water near Hishe. Victoria departed from the caravan in order to drink and suddenly she was surrounded by some Arabs who wanted her. She threw herself into the water and wanted to die, but an Arab caught her and took her to his tent and kept her one year.
Afterwards he died and Victoria was taken by another Arab and brought to Tel-Samen. There she remained 8 years.
At that time some Armenians came to Tel-Samen, from those she heard that some of her relatives were alive and she decided leaving the Arabs and return to her own nation.
One day she fled to our orphanage in Tel-Samen and afterwards was sent to us.
