He was a baby when he lost his father. In the beginning of the deportation, he was exiled with his mother, brothers and sisters to Kooleken where all were killed. He succeeded in fleeing to Seghank where he went to a Kourdish house, the Kourds received and kept him as a shepherd for two years.
When the Russian army occupied this region he fled to Serig where an Arab took him to his farm. Bedros worked six years as a farmer. Some Armenians were passing this village on business. He heard from them about the orphanages in Aleppo. He asked them if he would be received there, when they said yes, he fled from the Arab, joined them and came to Aleppo.
His cousins are in America.
