In the beginning of the Armenian deportation Turks killed his father in the town. His mother being very ill was allowed to remain in the village - but when the Russian army was approaching the region of Erzeroom Turks and Armenians were deported to the region of Diarbekir. His mother died on the road, but Benyamin and his brother reached Diarbekir. They were very poor and had to work to earn their bread. One morning they went to look for work and in the evening they could not find each other.

Benyamin, after a few days, went to a village near Veran-Shehir hoping to locate his brother, but he did not succeed in it and went to a Kourdish family where he became a farmer. After eight years he heard that his brother is alive in a town named Sindjiar. Benyamin passed the Turkish frontier and came to Hassitshe with the intention to join his brother. However our agent met him in Hassitshe and persuaded him to go first to Aleppo. Benyamin agreed and came to us.

We are going to investigate about his brother.

Benyamin found work for himself, learned a trade
