He was a little child when the
deportation began. He came with his parents to Ras-el-Ain where he was given to
a Kurd of his parent's own accord. Antranig's master engaged him as a shepherd
for many years but Antranig did not forget that he had parents and he was eager
to find them. One day with his herd in the fields, he met two Armenian boys
fleeing from the Arabs. He asked them to take him with them, they were willing
to do it.
The
same night they reached Hassitshe and knocked at the door of our agent. The
following day they were sent per auto to Aleppo.
