During the deportation his father
was obliged to leave his family and he fled away. There is no further news
about him. Ghazaros, with his mother, one brother and two sisters was exiled to
Diarbekir. On the road his sister was lost and his brother fell ill and died.
When they reached Mardin, he was dragged away from the caravan while the rest
continued their journey.
He remained only one day with his
Kurdish owner then was sold to a man, named Moulla Khalef, who took him to his
village Rehani. There he worked seven years as a shepherd. During that time he
was treated badly, so that he could not endure more. Thus fled to the village
Buskatri where he remained four years in an Arab's house working hard for his
new masters. Once he went to Hassitshe to buy a jacket for his step-brother.
There he met our agent who sent him per auto to us.
