Wrong PICTURE No:483 14/1
Artin was deported with his father, mother and two sisters to Katma. There his father became ill and died. The rest of the family was sent to Aleppo. On the road his mother became ill too and died. The children remained alone. A policeman came and took one of his sisters and married her.
The two children were deported to Der-el-Zor and entered two different Moslem families as servants. Both of them were ill-treated, so they fled to a village named Dovooshan where his sister remained. Artin went to Nizib and remained six years in a Turkish house as a farmer. Once he went to Djirablous on business. Once there he did not return but went to the Armenians who sent him to our Reception house.
