Khatoon's mother died before the war. She came with her father and sister in the road.

                  They reached Krassan. There the father disappeared.

                  A Kourd brought Khatoon and her sister to his house. Khatoon he kept as his child, the sister was sold to an Arab.

                  Newly the Kourd died, and Khatoon was by the help of some Armenians sent on to our rescue-home in Aleppo.

  

Khatoon has an aunt in Aleppo and went to live with her.

She has also a sister, who is married with an Arab.
