Her father had emigrated to America before the war and
died there. Her mother married again and placed her two girls Arshaluis and
Arusiak with her grandfather. In the time of deportation, they all came on the
road. Arshaluis' stepfather and grandfather were killed. Her sister
disappeared. The caravan reached Surudj where her mother died. A Kurd from a
village close by took Arshaluis in his house. She was married to him and got
four children. The Kurd had also another wife, who was very unkind to her. One
day she fled, reached a village where an Armenian helped her to pass the
frontier and she came to us.
Left our care: August 8,
1928. Returned to the Muslims. She had several children there.
