The whole family was deported. When they came to Biredjik two of Krikor's brothers died. The survivors went on to Der-el-Zor. Krikor's parents died there. Krikor's brother and sister and he himself went to live among the Arabs. They were told by them that there was nobody alive. Krikor and his brother and sister believed that and remained at Der-el-Zor until this summer.
When they heard that there are Armenians left who are living in Aleppo, they fled and succeeded.
