Hagop's father died before the
war. He himself, his mother and two brothers were exiled with the remainder of
the city. They reached a river, there the Kourds attacked the people and killed
the most of them.
Some they dragged away with
them. Hagop was also brought to a Kourd's house where he stayed eleven years.
One day he heard that
Armenians were living in Aleppo, he fled, and people showed him our
rescue-home.
