Aroussiag's father was dead before the war. She was deported with her mother, 2 brothers and a sister. Her mother and sister died on the road. Not far from Aleppo a Kurd broke into the caravan and carried her off. She was compelled to marry him.

            She tried to get news of her brothers, one of them was found living in Beirut, a doctor connected them with each other. A/ fled wandered 9 days in the snow before she reached the Syrian frontier. From there she was sent in a car to us.
