Hovsep's parents died before the
war. He was exiled with his brother and sister. When they reached Hammam (a
village near Rakka and Deir-el-Zor), an Arab took him to his house, where he
lived as a shepherd. After eleven years his master became poorer and he could
not support him any longer, so he sent him away. Hovsep came to Deir-el-Zor,
where he met with our agent who sent him per auto to us.
Left
our care: October 10, 1926. Selfsupporting.
