Krikor's
father went to America 2 years before the deportation. He was deported with his
mother and two brothers to Ras-el-Ain. The caravan encamped there 3 months. His
mother and one brother became ill and died.
Krikor and his brother were
stolen by Kourds and brought to their house. There they lived 9 years, then
Krikor's brother was sold to an Arab, and he himself fled to Mardin.
An Assyrian informed him about
the reception house in Aleppo and advised him to go there. So he went to
Hassitshe. Our agent found him and sent him to us.
Krikor has relatives in
America and Egypt.
