Manoug's father died when he
was quite little. In the beginning of the deportation he was exiled with his
mother and 1 sister. Near Isoli the caravan was attacked by Kurds and most of
the people were killed or wounded. Among the dead were also his mother and
sister. A Kurd took Manoug to his house. There he lived 3 years as a slave.
Then he fled to Khararpout, there he was sheltered in a Turkish house, till now
he remained there, but when he got an opportunity, followed the muleteers and
reached to us.
