                  Semaan and Youssouf were exiled with their parents in the neighbourhood of Mardin, where their parents and elder brother were killed.

                  The two boys were taken to Kourdish houses in different villages one hour far from each other. They were named Mus-Kantor and Gur-Mozan.

                  The elder one lived with his master 9 years as a shepherd. Last year it was a very hard winter and many sheep died. For this reason Semaan was beaten cruelly, so one night he and his brother fled to Ras-el-Ain, where an Armenian sent them to us. 

                 

 

Semaan and Youssouf returned to us again in July 1925.

Their relatives had used all their money, went away to another city and left the boys here.

 

Left our care: March 21, 1925. Relatives.

                  Returned July 1925.

                                    Finally left October 1925.

                                                      Selfsupporting, taken care of his brother.
