His mother died before the Armenian massacres and his father was killed during the deportation.
His cousin married a Turk during the war. He asked him to take them to their house in order to save their life. The Turk granted her this favor and both were protected by the Turk.
When Armenians were emigrating they fled to an Armenian house. Later they came with a caravan to Aleppo. Raphael the smaller brother was not able to support himself so we took him in our Reception house.
