Ghazar's parents were killed on the road before his eyes.
He still remembers the gruesome sight. He himself went on with his uncles. In a
Kurdish village they all stayed as servants or slaves. Indeed they were
absolutely unpaid, saving nothing but their bare lives. Recently most of them
were killed. Ghazar fearing the same fate, fled to Syria. We received him in
our house to give him a start in the new life.
Left our care: June 18,
1928. Selfsupporting.
