Kaspar's father was killed during the insurrection of Urfa. He himsfelf was deported with his mother to Mardin. His mother gave him to a Turk of Mardin in order to safe his life. Within two months Kaspar became ill. The Turk did not want to keep him any longer and sold him to one of his friends for one Medjidie.
Kaspar went with his new master and lived three years with him. All expenses were growing daily, his master was not rich and decided to send Kaspar away.
Kaspar was working in the villages near Mardin until he succeeded to flee to Syrian territory. He came to us on December 26.
As far as we know he has no relatives.
