Newly came a woman here, she
had her little daughter with her.
Varter
was deported with her husband who was dressed as a wife, therefore his life was
saved, as the other men were killed.
An
Arab one day brought that family to his tent. The man served as a shepherd and
the wife as a servant.
They had both to work hard but
were rather well treated.
One
day Varter's husband died, and soon after Varter fled with her child with the
help of some muleeters and reached Hassitshe, from where she was sent further
on to us.
Found
her relatives in Aleppo and went to live with them.
Left
our care: October 15, 1925. Relatives.
