In the beginning of the deportation a Kourd took the whole family to his house to protect them. The Kourd was a poor man and he could take care of them for three months and gave them afterwards to the chief of the village who turned them over to the deportation department. They were all deported excepting Haroutioune who lived with the Kourd. After three years the Kourdish family went to Harpoot and they took Haroutioune with them.
One day he tried to go to Russia but he could not succeed, he was not able to support himself. He stopped at Tulghan and worked for a Turk there until he could flee to Aleppo.
Has no relatives.
Haroutioune became selfsupporting.
