Toros'
father died in the beginning of the war. He himself was deported with his
mother, three brothers and their country people to Tchermook. There his mother
gave him to a Turk in order to save his life. A few days afterwards the caravan
went further on and Toros did not know anything about them for twelve years.
Then he one day heard that his mother and one of his brothers were alive and
stayed in Beirut. In the night he fled and reached Arabpounar from whence by
our agent he was sent further on to our rescue-home in Aleppo.
Toros went to
live with his mother in Beirut.
Left our care: June 1, 1927. Relatives.
