Assadour
was exiled with his parents and two brothers to Deir-el-Zor. At Khabur Circassians
attacked the caravan. His parents were killed. He himself and his brothers were
taken away to different places. Until now he has no information about their
fate. Assadour was treated as a slave. How the poor boy suffered through those
long twelve years. He prayed to the Lord about liberation and one day his
prayers were granted. Newly he met with an Armenian chauffeur who told him
about our rescue-home in Aleppo. Assadour immediately was ready to follow him
and soon he arrived safely in our home.
Left our care: June 1, 1927. Relatives Aleppo.
