During the Turkish-Armenian rebellion in Urfa her father was killed. She with her mother and grandfather were deported to Dooden where her mother and grandfather were killed and afterwards thrown in a river.
A Turk took Mary back to Urfa and kept her during five years in his house. Later he married her to one of his relatives. After one year her husband became ill and died. She had the opportunity and fled to an Armenian family. Armenians provided her a passeport and she started for Aleppo. In Djerablous she became ill and one month later she reached this city.
Unable to work she came to us and we received her.
We found her relatives and she went to live with them.
Left our care: November 25, 1923. Relatives.
