During the deportation she was
exiled with her parents, three brothers and one sister. She lost her parents
and two brothers near Severek. She herself was taken by a Kurd and was brought
to his village near Arabpounar. Nazeli lived eleven years in this village. When
she heard that her relatives were still living in Aleppo, she sent a woman to
our agent in Arabpounar asking his assistance. It was a very difficult task to
take her out of this village because her possessor was a man of great
influence. Her relatives were waiting anxiously for her as she reached our
rescue-house.
We
took the signature of her brother and gave her to her brother.
