During the deportation Anna's father was killed. She herself with her mother, two sisters and two brothers was exiled to Urfa. Several months after their arrival a rebellian movement took place in this city and they were all deported to a town named Souroudj. On their way to this town a Kourd came and took her and her sister Vartanoosh to his village and not very long afterwards the Kourd married her. Her sister was taken away by a Turk who married her by force. She is still living with him in a town named Nizib.
Anna's husband died there after being married 3 years with her. Anna rejoined her married sister and lived with her five years and fled afterwars to Urfa. There she joined a caravan and reached Aleppo. Having no relatives she came to us and we took her in with her child.
