            Valentin's father was killed. She was deported with her mother. In Veranshehir a Turk took her to his house. Later, he, an old man of 60, married her. She had to stay with him for many years, but finally one of our agents succeeded in helping her over the frontier. We found her mother here in Aleppo, she is now living with her.
