Hovsep’s father was killed. He was deported with his
mother. Outside the city a Kurd took him and his mother to his house. They were
both servants there. Later the mother went to Diarbekir. He stayed and was a
sort of slave. As he was later illtreated on account of being a "Christian
dog," he fled to Mardin, from where our agent sent him to us.
We kept him
a few days and helped him to find work. He is now selfsupporting.
Left our care: April 25,
1928. Selfsupporting. Relatives in Aleppo.
