His father fled to Russia in the beginning of the deportation. Boghos was deported with his mother until Khas Keuy where they were put in a house to be sent further on the next day. Boghos fled at night time to Han, a village not far away from Khas Keuy. A Kourd received him and Boghos was there for four years being a shepherd. During the war food prices were growing higher every day, the Kourd was poor and so he could not take good care of Boghos.
Boghos went to Kighi and lived in a Turkish house for one year. He was ill-treated there and he went back to his Kourdish master who received him. Boghos lived with him until Armenians were allowed to leave Turkey. With the permission of his master he left Turkey and came to Aleppo.
His uncles Philipos, Paravon, Mihran and Mygerditsh Hampartzoumian are in America.
Boghos came into connection with his relatives who are supporting him.
