Four months before the Armenian deportation her father returned from America. As soon as he came to Turkey he was taken to the Turkish army.
Juher was deported with her mother and her brother to a town named Severek. Her mother was killed there. She and her brother were taken to a village named Gerger. There they were taken to a Turkish family and lived seven years among them. After seven years they were sent to Severek to some relatives of the former family. There they were illtreated and so her brother ran away.
Juher who fled to a village named Peterghi, there she met a muleteer and came with him to this city.
