                  Hovhannes is born in Palou, from there he was deported with his parents. His father was killed on the road. An Arab took Hovhannes and his mother, and she was forced to marry that Arab. 

                  Some years ago she died, and Hovhannes who knew that he was a Christian fled and reached Hassitshe. There our agent sent him on to our rescue-home in Aleppo.
