His father was killed in the beginning of the Armenian massacres. Garabed was deported with his mother. On the road, his mother was killed and thrown into a river. Being very small at this time he does not remember any details about his past and his family.
Garabed's uncle took care of him during several years. They were living in Shoushnag. After some years he became a shepherd in this town and lived in a Turkish family.
During the Armenian emigration a woman took him to Aleppo and turned him over to us.
As far as we know he has no relatives.
