The whole family was deported to Arabkir. A policeman of that town took Kevork to his house and the rest of the family were sent further on. Kevork never got news from them, he only heard that his father was killed.
Kevork lived eight years in this Turkish policeman's house being a servant. One night he fled to Harpoot and worked three months in a Turkish store as a servant. Later he paid a muleteer the necessary money and fled with him to Aleppo.
After his arrival he came to us, being unable to support himself.
Kevork became selfsupporting and left.
Left our care: March 18, 1924. Selfsupporting.
