Ovsanna's father was killed by a Turk before the war. During the deportation a Kourd married her mother and so both were living in the Kourd's house for a period of eight years.

            Later the Kourd became ill and died. Ovsanna fled with her mother in the same night and reached a caravan of emigrants.

            Both of them reached Aleppo, but her mother being very poor and weak could not support her so we took her in.

            Received in the Danish orphanage.
