Nevart's father was a soldier in the Turkish army. She
was deported with her mother and two little brothers. A Turk took her back to
Haini, and she lived in his house until he died. Afterwards she found her
living as best as she could. For some years she was in an orphanage in
Diarbekir. Later she married an Armenian there. He was killed by the Turks and
she had to flee together with her sister-in-law No. 1706. They both came to us
over Mardin.
Left our care: February 21,
1928. Living with relatives in Aleppo.
