Rebekka's father was killed.
She was on the arm of her mother, who was driven through the deserts with a
little boy hungry at her apron. In Hassitshe her strength was absolutely
exhausted. She died on the road-side. An Arab took the little girl to his tent.
The boy went on. He too lived for years among the Arabs. During the British
occupation he came out, but he never gave up the search for his little sister.
We helped him, and finally she was found and given back to him.
Left our care: April 26,
1928. Living with her brother.
