Was saved from death in 1915 in a peculiar way. He and some other small boys from the village had out of pure curiosity followed a military transport of munitions and the soldiers had let them have their way. The boys made themselves useful and the soldiers brought them further and further on until after some months they turned back to Harpoot.

            At this time the Armenians of the village were all killed. Asadur found some of his relatives but a Turk took him to his house. In all these years he worked for him and now finding that it had lasted long enough he found his way back to the Armenians.

            Asadur has two uncles in America.

Asadur did not behave well, he left our house on his own account.
