Nevart was deported together with her parents, a sister
and two brothers. She together with one of her brothers escaped from a regular
massacre in a valley on the way. They were driven on to Diarbekir, where a Turk
married Nevart. So the brother was saved. Later he married No. 1705, but was soon
killed by the Turks. The two young women fled together and reached us over
Mardin.
