Doudou though young, has suffered very much. She was
three years old when she with her parents and relatives was driven into the
desert. Her brothers and sisters disappeared and her parents were killed.
Doudou was erring alone in the caravan, she reached Deir-el-Zor. There an Arab
woman took possession of her. She was a slave in the house and used by the men
from she was a small child. She wanted to flee but she was as in a prison.
Newly an Armenian helped her and she came to us.
Doudou was treated for her
eyes February 1931. She is now well.
Left our care: March 1,
1930. Relatives in Aleppo.
