His mother died in his babyhood. His
father went to America before the war, leaving his three little ones under the
charge of their grand-mother. He supported them from America. During the
deportation they were exiled in the direction of Aleppo. Near Malatia he lost
his brother and near Surudj his sister. He himself was taken by a Kurd to Urfa,
where he lived eleven years until he was saved by our agent. He reached our
house bearing in his mind only a vague and distant impression about his
relatives, but lately, we gained information and ascertained that his father
and two uncles are living in America. We shall try to locate them.
