Asniv's father, who was a muleteer disappeared in the beginning of the war. Her mother was killed on the road. She herself taken by a Kurd and brought to a village. After some years she was sold for 100 Piasters to another Kurd. Four years she was forced to live with that man, then he was taken as a soldier. She fled to Mardin, stayed there some years with some Armenians. Later she came to Hassitshe. 

            One day one of our old boys, a Chauffeur, saw her and brought her to us.
