Yeghsa's husband had fled to
Urfa. When she was deported with her son to the same city, they lived together
there. The husband was killed in the battle of Urfa. She was again deported
with her son to the region of Nissib, where a Turk married her. This saved her
son. But when he grew up, he was no longer safe in Turkey. They fled to Syria,
and we helped them to settle in Aleppo.
The son here has married one of our
girls, No. 578.
Left our care: March 14,
1928. Living with her son in Aleppo.
