He
was deported with his parents, four brothers, two sisters and his country
people to Deir-el-Zor. By and by his brothers and sisters disappeared. His
parents who could not stand the sufferings on the road became ill and Harutiun
had to leave them on the road. The poor little boy roamed round in the caravan
till one day an Arab took him with him to his tent. That Arab was of the tribe
Shammar. Harutiun who was illtreated fled to another tribe, where stayed twelve
years as a little shepherd. Newly his possessor was killed in a quarrel with
another tribe. He then fled and met with out agent in Hassitshe. A few days
after he arrived in our home in Aleppo.
We found Harutiun’s uncle in Aleppo. He
is staying there.
Left our care: May 26, 1927. Relatives.
