In the beginning of the
deportation the Turkish government collected the men of her town and sent them
to Paloo. On the road the poor people were annihilated, including her father.
When her family was going to be deported, her mother left Yeghsa under the
charge of a Turk, who seemed to be man to be trusted. When she grew-up, a Turk
asked her master's leave to marry Yeghsa, but when she was informed about it,
she did not agree to the proposal and fled to Aleppo joining a part of
Armenians who were departing.
