During the deportation she was sent with her parents to Mardin. Her parents were sent further on, while she, being taken by a Kürd to his house, remained in the town.

                  When she grew up, her step-mother fell ill and died, but in her last moments she advised her husband to marry Azniv.

                  Azniv was not willing for it, she asked secretly the help of our agent, the Catholic priest, who found the chance in arranging her escape, in this way she was sent to our rescue-home.

Azniv is living with her aunt in Aleppo.
