            In the beginning of the deportation Kourds attacked the village. Part of the people could flee to the mountains, the rest was killed.

            One of the Kourds took Karekin to his house where he lived one year, he was deported with his master because the Russian Army was coming. When the Russian Army was leaving Turkish territory, they could return to their town. Karekin lived there seven years being the shepherd of the Kourd. He fled from there and came to Aleppo as a Moslem boy.

 

 

His cousin is in America.

Karekin found a work and became selfsupporting after a few days.
