Eliza
came on the road with her parents and a brother. The caravan reached Baraha,
there the people were attacked by Arabs and Kourds. Eliza's parents were
killed.
An
Arab brought Eliza away with him. The poor child was treated badly and fled in
another tent, from where she was brought back and forced to stay with her owner
11 years.
One day she had opportunity to
flee and reached Tel-Samen. After staying there some weeks she was sent on to
our rescue-home in Aleppo.
When
Eliza arrived here she was very ill of syphilis. She has now recovered. In our
home she found her brother, No. 784.
Left
our care: October 1927. Married in our colony No. 888.
