During the deportation her father was killed she and her mother were exiled until one day far from the city. There a Turk took her to his village. Margrit lived seven years with the Turk's family being their maid servant.
An Armenian woman helped her in fleeing and she succeeded to come to Harpoot. There she joined an Armenian party of refugees that was coming to Aleppo.
Margrit came to us December 18.
As far as we know she has no relatives.
