Nishans father was a soldier
in the Turkish army. He himself was deported with his mother. The caravan
reached Deir-el-Zor. There the mother died. Nishan fled in a tent of an Arab,
by whom he stayed 10 years.
One day Nishan met with an
Armenian, who told him about our rescue-home in Aleppo. He very much wanted to
come there and learn a trade.
The Armenian helped him to
flight and one day he reached our house safely.
