His father died a few days before the deportation. His
two brothers were killed at the beginning of the Great War. He himself together
with his mother were deported to Rakka. From Aintab till Rakka they had to walk
during weeks and weeks. Tired till death they reached Rakka late in the
evening. The same night some Arabs from the Shammar tribe took his mother away
from the deportation camp and married her by force to their chief. The next day
Nazar was taken to another tribe where he had to work very hard as a farmer.
Being there he heard that his mother was living in a village not far from his.
He always intended to flee but he could not succeed. At last he fled but his
mother could not accompany him as her escape seemed too dangerous for both of
them. Our Hassitshe agent met him and sent him to Aleppo.
Left our care: November 4,
1927. Relatives, brother in law Aleppo.
